Verse 13, Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Verse 14; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
THE GREAT POSSIBILITIES OF THE GRACE OF GOD
Titus 2 verse 11, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
What does he bringing to you:
1, Salvation
2, Renewal
3, Healing
4, Deliverance
Three things we are looking at:
1. THE GRACE THAT GRANTS SINNERS SO GREAT SALVATION
2. THE GRACE THAT GIVES THE SICK SUCH GOOD SOUNDNESS
3. THE THAT GUIDE THE SOUL TO GODLY SATISFACTION
POINT 1: THE GRACE THAT GRANTS SINNERS SO GREAT SALVATION
Ephesians 2 verse 1, And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Verse 2, Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Verse 3, Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Verse 4, But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Verse 5, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Verse 8; For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
1 Timothy 1 verse 14, And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Verse 15; This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
POINT 2: THE GRACE THAT GIVES THE SICK SUCH GOOD SOUNDNESS
Acts 3 verse 1, Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
Verse 2, And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
Verse 3, Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
Verse 4, And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
Verse 5, And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
Verse 6, Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Verse 7; And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength.
Verse 8, And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
Verse 16; And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Jeremiah 17 verse 14, Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
POINT 3: THE THAT GUIDE THE SOUL TO GODLY SATISFACTION
Psalms 81 verse 13, Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
Verse 14, I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
Verse 15, The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.
Verse 16; He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.
