Mark 10 verse 46, And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
Verse 52, And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
The miracle of sight for the blind
Mark 10 verse 51, And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
Three Things we Are looking:
1, Persevering prayer of faith standing on the promises
2, Point 2: Prioritized pursuit with faith in for possession
3, prompt performance through faith for salvation with perception
Point 1: Persevering prayer of faith standing on the promises
Mark 10 verse 46, And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
Verse 47, And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Verse 48, And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Isaiah 35 verse 4, Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Verse 5, Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Verse 6, Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
Verse 7, And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
Verse 8, And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Point 2: Prioritized pursuit with faith in for possession
Mark 10 verse 49, And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
Verse 50, And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
Point 3: prompt performance through faith for salvation with perception
Mark 10 verse 51, And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
