The Ultimate Sacrificial Price for Our Peace

Ephesians 2 verse 12; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Verse 13, But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Verse 14, For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 

Verse 15, Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Verse 16, And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Verse 18, For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Verse 19; Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Three points to consider:

. Alienation from peace and peaceful life without Christ

. Atonement by the price and pain of the cross

. Abundant of peace through penitent and conversion

Point 1: Alienation from peace and peaceful life without Christ

Ephesians 2 verse 12; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Romans 3 verse 17, And the way of peace have they not known:

Verse 23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Verse 24, Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Verse 25; Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Point 2: Atonement by the price and pain of the cross

Lamentations 1 verse 12, Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.

Know this:

God is angry with the wicked everyday

I bought all bad sin in life to set you free

Ephesians 2 verse 13; But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Point 3: Abundant of peace through penitent and conversion

I will not be sick anymore!
