Isaiah 9 verse 6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Verse 7; Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Great Wonders through the Prince of Peace

Three points to consider:

. The prophetic perpetual Government of peace

. The present, precious goodness of the prince

. The pardoning plenteous grace for all people

Point 1: The prophetic perpetual Government of peace

Zechariah 9 verse 9, Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Verse 10; And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from river even to the ends of the earth.

Point 2: The present, precious goodness of the prince

Acts 5 verse 30, The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Verse 31; Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Psalms 145 verse 9, The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Verse 19, He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

He will save you today, just believe and surrender

The lord will begin to use you!

Point 3: The pardoning plenteous grace for all people

Psalms 130 verse 7, Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

Verse 8; And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Micah 7 verse 18, Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Verse 19, He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
