Deuteronomy 28 verse 1, And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:


Verse 2, And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.


Verse 3, Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.


Verse 4, Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.


Verse 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.


Verse 8, The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.


Verse 9, The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.


Verse 10, And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.


Verse 11, And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.


Verse 12, The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

Verse 13; And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Point 1: the conditional promise from our covenant benefactor


The condition: IF

Exodus 19 verse 5, Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:


Verse 6; And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.


Exodus 23 verse 22, But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. 


Verse 23, For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.


 Verse 24, Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.


Verse 25; And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Deuteronomy 7 verse 12, Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:



Obedience is the key

Detail : this shows in any bless of god they are conditions to follow

Prayer is the not key, pray then obedience


Verse 15, And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Follow the condition


Church house is seen as a nation

So what is the nation you in, impacting in you

 Verse 15; But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:


Isaiah 1 verse 16, Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;


Verse 17, Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.


Verse 18, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.


Verse 19, If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:


Verse 20; But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.


Act 5 verse 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.


Verse 32; And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.


Romans 6 verse 16, Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?


Verse 18; Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.


Romans 16 verse 19, For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.


Verse 20, And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.


Verse 26; But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:


Faith will not work expert it has obedience


Point 2: The conferred privilege of the covenant-keeping believers


Genesis 22 verse 17, That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;


 Verse 18; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.


Psalms 91 verse 7, A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.


Verse 8, Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.


Verse 9, Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;


Verse 10, There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.


Verse 11, For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.


Verse 12, They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.


Verse 13, Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.


Verse 14, Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.


Verse 15; He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.


Isaiah 56 verse 4, For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;


Isaiah 56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.


1 Kings 11 verse 9, And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,


Verse 10, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.


Verse 11, Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.


40; Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.


John 8 verse 31, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;


Verse 32; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.


Are you going to remain a hypocrite all your life


Do less and let God handle the rest


Point 3: The courageous prayer of all covenant-keeper beneficiaries


James 5 verse 15; And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.


1 Kings 18 verse 21, And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.


Verse 30, And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.


1 Kings 18 verse 31, And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:


Verse 32, And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.


Verse 33, And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.


Verse 34, And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.


Verse 35, And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.


Verse 36, And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.


Verse 37, Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.


Verse 38, Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.


Verse 39, And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.


You will see the hand of god in your life ( believe and obey his direction)


1 Samuel 7 verse 8, And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.


Verse 9; And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.


Isaiah 37 verse 21, Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:


Verse 22, This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.


Verse 36; Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.


Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.


Acts 12:7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.


Heaven does not need the key to that padlock

Verse 8, But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.


Verse 9, Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,


Verse 10, And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?


Verse 11, And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.


Verse 12; Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.


Psalms 50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.


Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.


Believe

I will deliver thee!


Verse 16, But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?


 Verse 17, Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.


Verse 18, When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.


Verse 19, Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.


Verse 20, Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.


Verse 21, These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.


Verse 22, Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.


Verse 23; Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
